An unexpectedly hard shot by Jordão Vasques in the 7th minute of play forced Lupere FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Rodriguinho Sergipano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute, Manuel Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute, Hazım Taşboğa made a precise shot to the right of Rodriguinho Sergipano. Lupere FC - DMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Victor Roque hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Durval Póvoas in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodriguinho Sergipano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Homero Saraiva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodriguinho Sergipano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Durval Póvoas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodriguinho Sergipano was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Victor Roque might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Harald Lossmann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victor Roque ran back to his position shaking his head. Rodriguinho Sergipano was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Durval Póvoas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Durval Póvoas really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Harald Lossmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Paulo Amaral in the 46th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victor Roque to make the kick off. Lupere FC - DMZ's Rodriguinho Sergipano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Durval Póvoas in the 55th minute of play. Rodriguinho Sergipano came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by FC Fura Balizas's Durval Póvoas. But to his dismay, Durval Póvoas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. João Paulo Amaral could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Harald Lossmann made a huge save. FC Fura Balizas's attentive Lourenço Nascimento managed to snatch the ball when Alberto Esteves made a throw-in in the 70th minute of the game. After having played for 72 minutes, Victor Roque managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lupere FC - DMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Roque was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Fura Balizas's Lourenço Nascimento managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alberto Esteves in the 75 minute of the game. After having played for 78 minutes, Durval Póvoas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Fura Balizas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Durval Póvoas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Lupere FC - DMZ's Alberto Esteves got a free kick in the 82nd minute. After 86 minutes of play, FC Fura Balizas's Ivaylo Yordanov made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodriguinho Sergipano was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 90thth minute of the game Ivaylo Yordanov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lupere FC - DMZ's Rodriguinho Sergipano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Ivaylo Yordanov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rodriguinho Sergipano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivaylo Yordanov, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. FC Fura Balizas's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
