But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gwidon Patora couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liu Zhi Guang in the 15th minute of play forced Lupere FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Rodriguinho Sergipano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodriguinho Sergipano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liu Zhi Guang in the 16th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the game, Veth Crystals's Zbigniew Wierzbicki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rodriguinho Sergipano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 21st minute, Gwidon Patora hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Veth Crystals fans' excitement grew in the 46th match minute when Veth Crystals's Zbigniew Wierzbicki looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The Lupere FC - DMZ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Veth Crystals were winning 0-5.

In the 52nd minute, Gwidon Patora ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodriguinho Sergipano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Lupere FC - DMZ's Rodriguinho Sergipano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Lupere FC - DMZ from getting a goal against them. Rodriguinho Sergipano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lupere FC - DMZ's Rodriguinho Sergipano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Lupere FC - DMZ from getting a goal against them.
