The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. MUSHIBA FC's João Augusto Quintal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ye Xiang in the 16th minute of play. Toninho Matos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. João Augusto Quintal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renan da Fonseca in the 22nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Renan da Fonseca in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck João Augusto Quintal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Harry Kane made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudinho Tande in the 24th minute. In the 36th minute, Maurinho Valadares made a precise shot to the right of Harry Kane. CE LAJEADENSE RS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After some careless play in the MUSHIBA FC defense, Renan da Fonseca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Augusto Quintal. The MUSHIBA FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Augusto Quintal should have stopped the shot. After 42 minutes, Ye Xiang mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CE LAJEADENSE RS and the MUSHIBA FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of MUSHIBA FC booed when CE LAJEADENSE RS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ye Xiang didn't get a good kick on the ball. Harry Kane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurinho Valadares in the 44th minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Luís Gustavo Siqueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Renan da Fonseca made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Ye Xiang dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of João Augusto Quintal, 1-3. Harry Kane took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurinho Valadares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ye Xiang could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but João Augusto Quintal made a huge save. After 59th play minutes Ye Xiang shot 1-4, a short shot which went by João Augusto Quintal and just under the crossbar into goal. Dida Mesquita kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Luís Gustavo Siqueira shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 65th minute of play. The shot was stopped by João Augusto Quintal but with some difficulty. MUSHIBA FC's Dida Mesquita quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Sandro Leite, made in the 69th minute of the game. In the 73rd minute, Maurinho Valadares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Harry Kane was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. Harry Kane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natã Paiva in the 84th minute of the match. João Augusto Quintal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renan da Fonseca in the 86th minute of play. João Augusto Quintal was a little too slow when Renan da Fonseca got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 2-7. In the 89th minute of the game Sandro Leite made a throw-in which He Qiang Sang played forward. João Augusto Quintal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from He Qiang Sang, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sandro Leite during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of MUSHIBA FC booed when CE LAJEADENSE RS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandro Leite didn't get a good kick on the ball.
