Sport Club Mavericks's Honorio Efraim was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonas Hermansson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jhonatan Calleri got free with Jonas Hermansson in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sport Club Mavericks's Telmo de Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amedeo Melis in the 34th minute of play. Augustin Ştefănuţ sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 41 played minutes Sport Club Mavericks got a freekick which was hit by Serginho Quirino. The corner led BlueLionesse's Emy Marioara to fire away a dangerous shot which Telmo de Amorim despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Augustin Ştefănuţ had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After 52 played minutes Sport Club Mavericks got a freekick which was hit by Luo Chuan. In the 55th match minute, Sport Club Mavericks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fred Vides to maneuver through the defense. Telmo de Amorim made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Amedeo Melis sent off a good shot on target. Amedeo Melis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Telmo de Amorim made a huge save. In the 66th minute Amedeo Melis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Telmo de Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Irinel Gheondea's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Telmo de Amorim firmly grabbed it by the left post. Sport Club Mavericks's Telmo de Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amedeo Melis in the 77th minute of play. After some careless play in the BlueLionesse defense, Honorio Efraim kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonas Hermansson. The BlueLionesse fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonas Hermansson should have stopped the shot. After 88 minutes of play, BlueLionesse's Augustin Ştefănuţ made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Telmo de Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Sport Club Mavericks's Telmo de Amorim got control of the ball when Huang Shu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Despite being the better team, BlueLionesse failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
