The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmet Necdet Yunus got free with Higinio Polo in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Yağızalp Günden didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aca Larroque went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. If Cornelio Beltxe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yağızalp Günden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aca Larroque in the 35th minute of play. If Lionel-Andrés Iniesta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46th minute Aca Larroque shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yağızalp Günden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ahmet Necdet Yunus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ahmet Necdet Yunus in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Higinio Polo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aca Larroque in the 59th minute of play forced CİCERO's goalkeeper Yağızalp Günden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute Ahmet Necdet Yunus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Polo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aca Larroque in the 77th minute of play forced CİCERO's goalkeeper Yağızalp Günden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yağızalp Günden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aca Larroque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
