Aca Larroque's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aleksander Birkenhagen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Aca Larroque might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aleksander Birkenhagen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aca Larroque ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 66th minute of the match, Mauro Astudillo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aleksander Birkenhagen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
