Yasin Ünsevin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Avram Sârban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yasin Ünsevin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Záhoran, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Zeng Chen Le's late challenge caught a KOO Tigers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zeng Chen Le helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ertan Dural in the 29th minute of play forced AFK Petržalka's goalkeeper Hugo Fisher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute KOO Tigers were awarded a corner. Alemdar Atasan went to the cornerflag to take it. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Roland Záhoran managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFK Petržalka's supporters rose to their feet, but Roland Záhoran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yasin Ünsevin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the KOO Tigers defense, Roland Záhoran kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yasin Ünsevin. The KOO Tigers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yasin Ünsevin should have stopped the shot. When KOO Tigers's Ertan Dural in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AFK Petržalka's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, KOO Tigers's 齐震笑 got a free kick in the 44th minute. The KOO Tigers players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. AFK Petržalka were winning 0-3.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roland Záhoran during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to AFK Petržalka getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Roland Záhoran hit a great ball. In the 54th minute, Roland Záhoran left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFK Petržalka fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. KOO Tigers's Ertan Dural got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
