The referee ignored Zlatan sucks's protests and gave Moncho Ogazon a yellow card for diving instead. Moncho Ogazon hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Zlatan sucks defense, Théodore Cordeau kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Evert Linberg. The Zlatan sucks fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evert Linberg should have stopped the shot. When Zlatan sucks's Fritz Berghmans in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With his leg Brian Fumey managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Zlatan sucks's Roy Pihl fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Roy Pihl had several of the Roncourt's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 22 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Brian Fumey as he didn't even see the shot coming. The audience was convinced that Fritz Berghmans's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brian Fumey was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fritz Berghmans in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brian Fumey saved Roncourt from getting behind. Zlatan sucks's Evert Linberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 邵南洲 in the 30th minute of play. Roncourt were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Zlatan sucks's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rick Jonen took the corner. In the 34th minute 邵南洲 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evert Linberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If 邵南洲 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roy Pihl could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Brian Fumey made a huge save. Baldomero Eusko hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Théodore Cordeau stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Brian Fumey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roy Pihl, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Evert Linberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 邵南洲 in the 58th minute of the match. In the 59th minute 邵南洲 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evert Linberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teofil Skarpiak kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Théodore Cordeau could shoot a difficult shot in the 81st minute, which Evert Linberg however easily saved by the left post. Roncourt's Brian Fumey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ziggy Zaga in the 82nd minute of play. Evert Linberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cyril Dalmas in the 84th minute of play.
