FCFiratRom's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marin Tufescu ran over to the corner to take the kick. FCFiratRom's Zeynel Gulson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Zbora in the 9th minute of play. Călin Borogeanu made in the 12th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Adrian Zbora however managed to control. Marian Basarab showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omero Cobain, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Călin Borogeanu in the 29th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FCFiratRom's Nevzad Gulson. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adrian Zbora in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zeynel Gulson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Buffalo Timişoara's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Murat Kundak was slow to take the kick. During this time FCFiratRom's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on FCFiratRom's corner Murat Kundak fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marian Basarab quite easily take care of the ball. 41 minutes into the match, FCFiratRom's goal looked a bit too open when Marin Tufescu came free, but Zeynel Gulson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zeynel Gulson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marin Tufescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute, Yıldıray Kartekin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yıldıray Kartekin hit a great freekick 49 minutes into the match. The FCFiratRom players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Buffalo Timişoara were winning 0-1.

Marian Basarab made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omero Cobain in the 56th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Omero Cobain's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marian Basarab was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. In the 58th minute, Oso Bucuk left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FCFiratRom fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a rather tough play, FCFiratRom's Oso Bucuk got a free kick in the 60th minute. Danil Merkushev replaced Marin Tufescu. Buffalo Timişoara's Albert Jurăscu was substituted for Cornel Timofte. Buffalo Timişoara's Alin Şantău was substituted for Silvestre Jesco. FCFiratRom's Ahmet Reha Ayaz was substituted for Omero Cobain. When Arnulfo Marino came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Buffalo Timişoara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnulfo Marino couldn't finish the play. FCFiratRom's Zeynel Gulson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save FCFiratRom from getting a goal against them. 79 minutes into the match, Buffalo Timişoara's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Reha Ayaz came free, but Marian Basarab reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Zbora in the 83rd minute of play forced FCFiratRom's goalkeeper Zeynel Gulson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Danil Merkushev got free with Zeynel Gulson in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zeynel Gulson made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Arnulfo Marino sent off a good shot on target. Zeynel Gulson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Danil Merkushev in the 97th minute. The FCFiratRom players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
