Spectators: 10000 (Terracing: 7500, Seating: 2300, VIP seats: 200) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Thierry Henry started the match with the kick off. After 9 minutes of play, Pihl United's Thierry Henry made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Michal Gniech was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 12th match minute, Chelmza Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bogumil Bendyk to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, Ciro Immobile notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Chelmza Team's Michal Gniech. Michal Gniech was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 18th minute Thierry Henry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michal Gniech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Chelmza Team's goal looked a bit too open when Thierry Henry came free, but Michal Gniech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michal Gniech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thierry Henry, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 35 minutes into the match, Ciro Immobile had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Michal Gniech. Chelmza Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ciro Immobile was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Gallberg in the 38th minute of play forced Chelmza Team's goalkeeper Michal Gniech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute, Miromir Dec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Pihl United's Evert Söder got a free kick in the 40th minute. Michal Gniech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thierry Henry, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Pawel Gall hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Pihl United's Anton Gallberg got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maciej Warka stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Chelmza Team's zone, Ciro Immobile stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michal Gniech came out of the goal and Ciro Immobile tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 65 minutes into the match, Chelmza Team's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Söderquist came free, but Michal Gniech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michal Gniech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thierry Henry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonardo Söderquist took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Michal Gniech. Michal Gniech dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. The supporters of Pihl United booed when Chelmza Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kajetan Waselenczuk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chelmza Team's Michal Gniech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thierry Henry in the 74th minute of play. Pawel Gall kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 79th minute of the match, Thierry Henry tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Michal Gniech saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Manfred Ekelund hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Kajetan Waselenczuk hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Leonardo Söderquist kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Michal Gniech. That made the score 0-8 in the 85 minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, Michal Gniech successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
