Ganjar Prabowo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xande Buffon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ganjar Prabowo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Buffalo Timişoara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boris Becker to maneuver through the defense. Serge Bolado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marian Basarab read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. The throw-in from Chiquinho de Alcântara in the 54th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Buffalo Timişoara's João Francisco Britto. Bayern Lessa - u21 made a substitution. Luciano do Valle replaced Nicu Joldea. A throw-in in the 64th minute of the game was made by Germano Moreira with Cássio França as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. When Germano Moreira fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bayern Lessa - u21's protests and gave Germano Moreira a yellow card for diving instead. After 66 played minutes Bayern Lessa - u21 got a freekick which was hit by Germano Moreira. In the 70th minute of the match, Cássio França got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marian Basarab was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 76th minute, Luciano do Valle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marian Basarab was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. A sloppy throw-in by Germano Moreira in the 91st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Buffalo Timişoara's João Francisco Britto. A collision led to Buffalo Timişoara getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Horea Codreanu hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Buffalo Timişoara defense, Cássio França kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marian Basarab. The Buffalo Timişoara fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marian Basarab should have stopped the shot. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Bayern Lessa - u21 eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
