An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovanni Arósio in the 18th minute of play forced Sagarana Clube's goalkeeper Jean Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 18 minutes, Natã Vale mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sagarana Clube and the Floresta Negra FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Sagarana Clube getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Natã Vale hit a great ball. Almir Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tostão Goiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Tostão Goiano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Almir Carneiro. Floresta Negra FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tostão Goiano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After having played for 30 minutes, Dráuzio Moreira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sagarana Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dráuzio Moreira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Sagarana Clube booed when Floresta Negra FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdemar de Mendonça didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 43 minutes, Tostão Goiano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sagarana Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tostão Goiano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adelino Andrade to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Floresta Negra FC booed when Sagarana Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natã Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 57 played minutes Sagarana Clube got a freekick which was hit by Tostão Goiano. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Davi Damião during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Sagarana Clube getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Davi Damião hit a great ball. In the 69th minute, Valdemar de Mendonça ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jean Leite was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Valdemar de Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Jean Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Valdemar de Mendonça left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Floresta Negra FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. After a rather tough play, Floresta Negra FC's José Carlos Hermes got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 84th match minute, Floresta Negra FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdemar de Mendonça to maneuver through the defense. Orlando Cosme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 88 minutes into the game, Geovanni Arósio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Jean Leite was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Floresta Negra FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
