Jean Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovanni Arósio in the 4th minute of the match. After 5 minutes, Iuri Vinhas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sagarana Clube and the Floresta Negra FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vânderson da Rocha charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vânderson da Rocha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 10th minute, Vânderson da Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the match, Sagarana Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Cosme came free, but Jean Leite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sagarana Clube's Jean Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Cosme in the 15th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Geovanni Arósio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jean Leite was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Valdemar de Mendonça blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jean Leite having to make a save. Jean Leite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdemar de Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Almir Carneiro made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Tostão Goiano sent off a good shot on target. Jean Leite came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Floresta Negra FC's Murilo Mello. But to his dismay, Murilo Mello quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. César Carioca's late challenge caught a Floresta Negra FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. César Carioca helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Sagarana Clube getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. César Carioca hit a great ball. Almir Carneiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dráuzio Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sagarana Clube's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Adelino Andrade in the 41st minute. Sagarana Clube's Adelino Andrade was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Almir Carneiro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jean Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdemar de Mendonça in the 44th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adelino Andrade was the one to do the kick off. Orlando Cosme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Jean Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Floresta Negra FC's José Carlos Hermes got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 67th minute, Orlando Cosme reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jean Leite. The goal made the score 0-3. Sagarana Clube's Jean Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdemar de Mendonça in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th minute, Orlando Cosme left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Floresta Negra FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Geovanni Arósio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean Leite having to interfere. After 79th play minutes Geovanni Arósio shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Jean Leite and just under the crossbar into goal. A collision led to Sagarana Clube getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Iuri Vinhas hit a great ball. Jean Leite showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovanni Arósio, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
