La Bichineta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rakkestad IF the free kick. After 14 played minutes La Bichineta got a freekick which was hit by Melchor Calvet. Eduardo Jordy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Halstensen in the 15th minute of play. Otto Klepp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eduardo Jordy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. In the 37th match minute, La Bichineta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Modesto Mark to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Moises Pereyra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. La Bichineta's Moises Pereyra got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Melchor Calvet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th match minute, La Bichineta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustin Isauro to maneuver through the defense. Jeppe Benjaminsen kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 58th minute of the match Moises Pereyra shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kenneth Friis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 59th minute, Linus Todal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 64 minutes into the match, Melchor Calvet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kenneth Friis. Rakkestad IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Melchor Calvet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Eduardo Jordy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otto Klepp, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Rakkestad IF's Kenneth Friis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Pereyra in the 77th minute of play. In the 81st minute of the match, Otto Klepp tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eduardo Jordy saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Otto Klepp blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eduardo Jordy having to make a save. 85 minutes into the match, La Bichineta's goalkeeper Eduardo Jordy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Otto Klepp. Eduardo Jordy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans-Petter Krogh in the 86th minute of the match. If Otto Klepp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute Christian Halstensen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Jordy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
