Spectators: 7532 (Terracing: 5650, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Erwin Avellano got the match started through his kick off. Christian Halstensen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Mendez Gamones made a huge save. The supporters of YerBaTerOs booed when Rakkestad IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vetle Frydenberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute, Intriago Saldivar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in YerBaTerOs's zone, Otto Klepp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mendez Gamones came out of the goal and Otto Klepp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 15 minutes into the match, YerBaTerOs's goal looked a bit too open when Otto Klepp came free, but Mendez Gamones reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th match minute, YerBaTerOs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rosero Castillo to maneuver through the defense. When Alvarez Antequera fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored YerBaTerOs's protests and gave Alvarez Antequera a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Rakkestad IF booed when YerBaTerOs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvarez Antequera didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute Otto Klepp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mendez Gamones saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Salas Justo hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erwin Avellano in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kenneth Friis saved Rakkestad IF from getting behind. Erwin Avellano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Kenneth Friis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christian Halstensen to make the kick off. Otto Klepp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mendez Gamones read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. 53 minutes into the game, Salas Justo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. YerBaTerOs's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rakkestad IF the free kick. After a rather tough play, YerBaTerOs's Salas Justo got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Otto Klepp charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Otto Klepp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 56th minute, Otto Klepp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 58 minutes, Otto Klepp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rakkestad IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Otto Klepp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Christian Halstensen might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mendez Gamones. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christian Halstensen ran back to his position shaking his head. When Otto Klepp came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Rakkestad IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Otto Klepp couldn't finish the play. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind YerBaTerOs's goalkeeper Mendez Gamones, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 76 minutes of play YerBaTerOs's Alvarez Antequera was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Christian Halstensen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mendez Gamones having to make a save.
