When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eleuterio Benvide made a kick off. After having played for 60 minutes, Rasmus Ståhlberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Wild Bunch's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rasmus Ståhlberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of The Wild Bunch booed when Atlético Rio Cuarto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Illan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kaj Lööf struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Gonzalo Regis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Wild Bunch. Kaj Lööf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, The Wild Bunch's Knut Odin got control of the ball when Astor Arotza tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 69th minute Astor Arotza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Knut Odin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gonzalo Regis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 80th minute, Emanuel Illan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Astor Arotza in the 82nd minute of play forced The Wild Bunch's goalkeeper Knut Odin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, The Wild Bunch's Per-Olof Haström got a free kick in the 87th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Emanuel Illan could shoot a difficult shot in the 88th minute, which Knut Odin however easily saved by the left post. A collision led to Atlético Rio Cuarto getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Astor Arotza hit a great ball. Robin Pettersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Gonzalo Regis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see The Wild Bunch lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
