Spectators: 7481 (Terracing: 5612, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eleuterio Benvide started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Guansa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teobaldo Gaufred to maneuver through the defense. After 6 played minutes Atlético Rio Cuarto got a freekick which was hit by Eleuterio Benvide. Gonzalo Regis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Urbez in the 7th minute of play. Emanuel Illan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arturo Tono scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gonzalo Regis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eleuterio Benvide struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Timoteo Obano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Rio Cuarto. If Roman Urbes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claudio Henrico charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claudio Henrico the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Claudio Henrico kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Gonzalo Regis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Tono, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Arturo Tono blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gonzalo Regis having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Uriel Hori's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gonzalo Regis was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. A collision led to Atlético Rio Cuarto getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Roman Urbes hit a great ball. The supporters of Guansa booed when Atlético Rio Cuarto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Astor Arotza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atlético Rio Cuarto's Gonzalo Regis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dionisio Urbez in the 43rd minute of play. After the first half Guansa were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Arturo Tono made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Guansa getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Marcelo Estefan hit a great ball. Eleuterio Benvide blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Timoteo Obano having to make a save. In the 64th minute, Guansa's Armando Luar seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Armando Luar the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Guansa protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Armando Luar had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Guansa fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 64th minute. Penalty! Timoteo Obano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eleuterio Benvide in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 74th minute Arturo Tono shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonzalo Regis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Guansa's goal looked a bit too open when Astor Arotza came free, but Timoteo Obano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th match minute, Guansa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Henrico to maneuver through the defense. Atlético Rio Cuarto's Celso Lonzo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 80th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Guansa. If Arturo Tono had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the match, Arturo Tono notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Atlético Rio Cuarto's Gonzalo Regis. Gonzalo Regis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eleuterio Benvide in the 89th minute of play forced Guansa's goalkeeper Timoteo Obano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 94 minutes of play, Guansa's Arturo Tono made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gonzalo Regis was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 97 played minutes Atlético Rio Cuarto got a freekick which was hit by Jimeno Caetano. After some fancy dribbling in the 100th minute, Arturo Tono managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guansa's supporters rose to their feet, but Arturo Tono was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gonzalo Regis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guansa's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
