Per Stigsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Waldemar Rybak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Leif Söderberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Waldemar Rybak. GKS Milenium's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leif Söderberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 15 played minutes Gunnarsbyn got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Olof Bergkvist. After a rather tough play, GKS Milenium's Filip Maziarz got a free kick in the 16th minute. 20 minutes into the match, GKS Milenium's Waclaw Cupial sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sören Termander narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Waldemar Rybak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leif Söderberg in the 22nd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Sören Termander successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 29th minute, Andrzej Gozdowski made a precise shot to the right of Sören Termander. Gunnarsbyn's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Waldemar Rybak made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Leif Söderberg sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, GKS Milenium's Waldemar Rybak got control of the ball when Sven Bäck tried to sneak it across the goal line.
