Zdzislaw Kociniewski started the match with the kick off. Kazimierz Sienkiewicz hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Lucjan Polakowski came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Tomitak Wrocław's Zdzislaw Kociniewski. But to his dismay, Zdzislaw Kociniewski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Janusz Hajder hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Lucjan Polakowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zdzislaw Kociniewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Kazimierz Sienkiewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Lucjan Polakowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Janusz Hajder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute Janusz Hajder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucjan Polakowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 1-1 became the score in the 16th minute when Waclaw Rakowski elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Andrzej Orszak was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Waclaw Rakowski showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 46 minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Waclaw Rakowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 80 minutes, Lucjan Polakowski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Waclaw Rakowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Tomitak Wrocław's Janusz Hajder dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. In the 95th minute, Zdzislaw Kociniewski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucjan Polakowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5.
