Airborne FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tigre the free kick. Alfredo Dracena kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Eriberto Benet took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Diamantino de Queiroz. Airborne FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Dudu Mesquita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute, Eriberto Benet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tigre fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Tigre were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Airborne FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eriberto Benet took the corner. Eriberto Benet made a great header on Tigre's corner, it was just that Airborne FC's Diamantino de Queiroz managed to reach the ball for a save. 21 minutes into the match, Airborne FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eriberto Benet came free, but Diamantino de Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Airborne FC defense, Genaro Nataniel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diamantino de Queiroz. The Airborne FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diamantino de Queiroz should have stopped the shot. 27 minutes into the match, Airborne FC's goal looked a bit too open when Genaro Nataniel came free, but Diamantino de Queiroz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute, Eriberto Benet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

After a defensive mix-up in Tigre's zone, Dudu Mesquita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rogelio Gaur came out of the goal and Dudu Mesquita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frank Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Rogelio Gaur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélio Terra in the 54th minute of play forced Tigre's goalkeeper Rogelio Gaur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frank Melo struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Rogelio Gaur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Airborne FC. In the 58th minute, Hélio Terra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rogelio Gaur was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. 64 minutes in the game, Hélio Terra dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Eriberto Benet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diamantino de Queiroz having to interfere. After 69 minutes, Teofilo Virila mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tigre and the Airborne FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 74 played minutes Airborne FC got a freekick which was hit by Frank Melo. In the 77th minute Eriberto Benet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diamantino de Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 80 minutes, Percival de Mendonça mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Airborne FC and the Tigre players grew even worse after the yellow card. Percival de Mendonça kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Florentino Henric recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th minute, Teofilo Virila ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diamantino de Queiroz was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-4. Tigre's Rogelio Gaur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélio Terra in the 94th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Tigre eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
