The audience thought a goal was coming when Tamer Baransel got free with Rogelio Gaur in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 19 minutes into the match, HORIZZONT's goal looked a bit too open when Teofilo Virila came free, but Sefa Yahya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sefa Yahya made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 33 minutes into the match, HORIZZONT's goal looked a bit too open when Florentino Henric came free, but Sefa Yahya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 35 played minutes HORIZZONT got a freekick which was hit by Ali Behzat Derem. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of HORIZZONT:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tigre:s goal. The referee gave Tigre a penalty, 45 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Eriberto Benet, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of HORIZZONT's Sefa Yahya. 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arsenio Iturri made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florentino Henric got free with Sefa Yahya in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florentino Henric in the 53rd minute of play forced HORIZZONT's goalkeeper Sefa Yahya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardino Dantel charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernardino Dantel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 56th match minute, Tigre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardino Dantel to maneuver through the defense. Genaro Nataniel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Sefa Yahya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rogelio Gaur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Behzat Derem in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Bernardino Dantel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. HORIZZONT's Sefa Yahya proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save HORIZZONT from getting a goal against them. HORIZZONT's Sefa Yahya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Benet in the 93rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Ali Behzat Derem's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rogelio Gaur was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Tigre's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
