Airborne FC's Diamantino de Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Rico in the 9th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlinhos Vianna during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cementerio Club's Marcelo Dimas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Cementerio Club from getting a goal against them. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Airborne FC's goalkeeper Diamantino de Queiroz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ezequiel Pinto made a kick off. The supporters of Cementerio Club booed when Airborne FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hélio Terra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diamantino de Queiroz acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 52nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Benito Corderun. Diamantino de Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgilio Jakue, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After 56 minutes, Hélio Terra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Airborne FC and the Cementerio Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 56 played minutes Airborne FC got a freekick which was hit by Hélio Terra. Diamantino de Queiroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgilio Jakue, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Ezequiel Pinto took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Diamantino de Queiroz to make any attempt to save it. Airborne FC's Diamantino de Queiroz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Airborne FC from getting a goal against them. Ezequiel Pinto took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diamantino de Queiroz. Diamantino de Queiroz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Frank Melo hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cementerio Club had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
