The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leopoldo Soares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Relyn Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leopoldo Soares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Relyn Futebol Clube's Juan Vieira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélio Terra in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitório Baiano in the 88th minute of play forced Airborne FC's goalkeeper Diamantino de Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute Hélio Terra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Vieira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hélio Terra might have been able to make a better finish in the 98th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juan Vieira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hélio Terra ran back to his position shaking his head. Airborne FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
