In the 18th minute Özgür Olcay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Vieira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Suphi Ziyaettin in the 19th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Relyn Futebol Clube's Davi Couto got a free kick in the 21st minute.
