Stig Fredriksson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cesar Benat went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 32 minutes into the match, Gustaf Wallin notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Italia's Higinio Loramendi. Higinio Loramendi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gustaf Wallin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Örebro FF's Joar Anselius got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 54 minutes into the match, Örebro FF's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Fidensio came free, but Stig Fredriksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cesar Benat charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cesar Benat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Örebro FF booed when Italia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesar Benat didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute, August Josefsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Higinio Loramendi was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 71st match minute, Italia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnoldo Baleren to maneuver through the defense. Örebro FF's Kenneth Löfgren pulled a muscle in his leg after 87 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 89th match minute, Italia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustino Ralondo to maneuver through the defense. When the referee ended the match the Örebro FF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
