Spectators: 7647 (Terracing: 5737, Seating: 1758, VIP seats: 152) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Iturri Soldevilla started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Socavon FC's Rencio Bergada got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Garcia Goyo's late challenge caught a Italia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Garcia Goyo helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Socavon FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 4th minute. Penalty! The supporters of Italia booed when Socavon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Weather Rasines didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Italia getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Jairo Fidensio hit a great ball. Higinio Loramendi made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Iturri Soldevilla sent off a good shot on target. In the 25th minute, Diagur Mellado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th match minute, Italia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Loramendi to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 32 minutes, Jairo Fidensio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Italia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jairo Fidensio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jairo Fidensio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Italia's Cristo Leheren got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Higinio Loramendi made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Rencio Bergada sent off a good shot on target. Higinio Loramendi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iturri Soldevilla in the 49th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jairo Fidensio was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Rencio Bergada had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Higinio Loramendi. Italia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rencio Bergada was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Higinio Loramendi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iturri Soldevilla's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Higinio Loramendi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iturri Soldevilla in the 60th minute of the match. Orlando Medero kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Socavon FC's Marcos Barrenechea got a free kick in the 67th minute. Jairo Fidensio was extremely unlucky when he, in the 71st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 74 minutes, Jairo Fidensio made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Socavon FC's Justino Lujan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Higinio Loramendi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iturri Soldevilla in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iturri Soldevilla in the 90th minute of play forced Italia's goalkeeper Higinio Loramendi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iturri Soldevilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Loramendi having to interfere. Marcos Barrenechea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iturri Soldevilla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Higinio Loramendi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play.
