The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Taavetti Valkealahti in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Freddy Arias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Taavetti Valkealahti received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Freddy Arias came out and tried to block the shot, but Taavetti Valkealahti slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 17th minute. Gilberto Barros charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 22 played minutes, Manchester United FC's Ylermi Glad shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Freddy Arias came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Manchester United FC reached it. A collision led to Soflov FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Joel Camerino hit a great ball. Freddy Arias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Taavetti Valkealahti in the 41st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Soflov FC's Joel Camerino got a free kick in the 41st minute. With his leg Freddy Arias managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when Manchester United FC's Reima Ruuttu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Freddy Arias stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Taavetti Valkealahti's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Freddy Arias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reima Ruuttu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the match, Manchester United FC's goalkeeper Saul Väänänen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Esteve Elequemedo.
