In the 9th match minute, Socavon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciriaco Mazorra to maneuver through the defense. Diagur Mellado scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baladi Obina, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 16 minutes into the game, Socavon FC's Iturri Soldevilla nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baladi Obina made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. A collision led to EL MAGO ONEILL getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Jon Berriz hit a great ball. Baladi Obina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iturri Soldevilla in the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rencio Bergada in the 40th minute of play forced EL MAGO ONEILL's goalkeeper Baladi Obina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baladi Obina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Barrenechea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute of the match Socavon FC got a corner. EL MAGO ONEILL's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Franko Tio ran over to the corner to take the kick. Franko Tio made a great header on Socavon FC's corner, it was just that EL MAGO ONEILL's Baladi Obina managed to reach the ball for a save. Jon Berriz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justino Lujan having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iturri Soldevilla was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, EL MAGO ONEILL's Xzavion Cachupin got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 58th minute, Diagur Mellado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iturri Soldevilla got free with Baladi Obina in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Baladi Obina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Barrenechea in the 63rd minute of play. Justino Lujan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jon Berriz in the 65th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, EL MAGO ONEILL's goalkeeper Baladi Obina had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iturri Soldevilla. 72 minutes into the game, Leonardo Morros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. EL MAGO ONEILL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Socavon FC the free kick. A collision led to EL MAGO ONEILL getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Leonardo Morros hit a great ball. A hard shot 75 in the game by Rencio Bergada from a close distance when the talented Baladi Obina managed to make a qualified save. EL MAGO ONEILL's players were relieved. Justino Lujan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jon Berriz, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 84 minutes into the game, Iturri Soldevilla was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Socavon FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EL MAGO ONEILL the free kick. 89 minutes into the match, EL MAGO ONEILL's goal looked a bit too open when Rencio Bergada came free, but Baladi Obina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute of the match, Rencio Bergada got a very nice opportunity to score, but Baladi Obina was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 94 minutes into the game, Iturri Soldevilla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Baladi Obina was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Socavon FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
