Spectators: 7530 (Terracing: 5649, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gustaf Wallin started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute of the match, Herbert Lundin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Stig Fredriksson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 6th minute Sigvard Björk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig Fredriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 8 played minutes Sigvard Björk rounded Örebro FF's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. The supporters of Örebro FF booed when FC Blueskatterna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ingvar Molander didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ulrik Brovall kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Christian Drewitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaf Wallin in the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joar Anselius in the 25th minute of play forced FC Blueskatterna's goalkeeper Christian Drewitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christian Drewitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from August Josefsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, FC Blueskatterna's goal looked a bit too open when Ulrik Brovall came free, but Christian Drewitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Örebro FF's Gustaf Wallin got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Herbert Lundin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Stig Fredriksson made a huge save. The supporters of Örebro FF booed when FC Blueskatterna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joakim Ahlström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Åke Aleberg struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Christian Drewitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Örebro FF. 47 minutes into the game, Åke Offendahl was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Blueskatterna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Örebro FF the free kick. In the 47th minute, Åke Offendahl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Sigvard Björk made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Örebro FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Åke Aleberg to maneuver through the defense. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Christian Drewitz. When Roger Glanselius fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Blueskatterna's protests and gave Roger Glanselius a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Blueskatterna getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Roger Glanselius hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Örebro FF's Åke Aleberg got a free kick in the 95th minute. Although FC Blueskatterna had been in control for most of the match, Örebro FF still came away with the win.
