A very good chance for a goal. 11 minutes into the match, Soflov FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arnoldo Baleren came free, but Freddy Arias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Soflov FC's Esteve Elequemedo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Higinio Loramendi. That made the score 1-1 after 14 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Soflov FC's Atilano Elia got a free kick in the 19th minute. Gilberto Barros hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute of the match Arnoldo Baleren shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Freddy Arias showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jairo Fidensio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Freddy Arias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th match minute, Soflov FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Polentzi to maneuver through the defense. When Joel Camerino fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Soflov FC's protests and gave Joel Camerino a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29th match minute, Soflov FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Camerino to maneuver through the defense. Freddy Arias stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnoldo Baleren's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Freddy Arias didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jairo Fidensio went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Soflov FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jairo Fidensio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Jairo Fidensio made the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute, Jairo Fidensio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Higinio Loramendi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteve Elequemedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Atilano Elia during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 70 played minutes Soflov FC got a freekick which was hit by Atilano Elia. Jairo Fidensio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Arias having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Jairo Fidensio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Freddy Arias. The goal made the score 1-4. With a little luck, Soflov FC's Freddy Arias got control of the ball when Jairo Fidensio tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 84th match minute, Soflov FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Montae to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute of the match Arnoldo Baleren sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Freddy Arias skillfully saved the ball. If Arnoldo Baleren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the match, Soflov FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Fidensio came free, but Freddy Arias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Soflov FC's zone, Jairo Fidensio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Freddy Arias came out of the goal and Jairo Fidensio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 97th minute Jairo Fidensio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Arias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Italia's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
