EL MAGO ONEILL's Baladi Obina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reima Ruuttu in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute Valio Sammalkangas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baladi Obina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Reima Ruuttu fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manchester United FC's protests and gave Reima Ruuttu a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Manchester United FC's Reima Ruuttu got a free kick in the 20th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reima Ruuttu in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baladi Obina saved EL MAGO ONEILL from getting behind. The supporters of EL MAGO ONEILL booed when Manchester United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ylermi Glad didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 28 played minutes EL MAGO ONEILL got a freekick which was hit by Zayvius Alejandro. Baladi Obina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reima Ruuttu in the 31st minute of play. Henri Valkealahti scored 0-2 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Baladi Obina, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 40 played minutes Manchester United FC got a freekick which was hit by Vihtori Viljanen. Estevon Hierro shot from long distance in the 41st minute, but Saul Väänänen was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Baladi Obina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henri Valkealahti, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 46 minutes into the game, Henri Valkealahti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Baladi Obina was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jon Berriz to make the kick off. EL MAGO ONEILL's Baladi Obina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henri Valkealahti in the 52nd minute of play. Saul Väänänen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jon Berriz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Manchester United FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than EL MAGO ONEILL throughout the match.
