Reima Ruuttus short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Stig Fredriksson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 28 played minutes Örebro FF got a freekick which was hit by André Tunberg. In the 29th minute, Reima Ruuttu made a precise shot to the right of Stig Fredriksson. Örebro FF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Manchester United FC's Taavetti Valkealahti slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Stig Fredriksson. That made the score 3-0 after 35 minutes of play. Tatu Lumijärvi was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 46 minutes into the match. Tatu Lumijärvi kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Gustaf Wallin made the kick off in the second half. Valio Sammalkangas might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stig Fredriksson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valio Sammalkangas ran back to his position shaking his head. Manchester United FC's Ylermi Glad got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Valio Sammalkangas came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Manchester United FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valio Sammalkangas couldn't finish the play. Reima Ruuttu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd minute of the match Örebro FF got a corner. Manchester United FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Åke Aleberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Örebro FF's corner Åke Aleberg fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Saul Väänänen quite easily take care of the ball. Reima Ruuttu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Stig Fredriksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Manchester United FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Teppo Helminen hit a great ball. In the 67th minute Åke Aleberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saul Väänänen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 69 minutes, Reima Ruuttu made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Örebro FF's Stig Fredriksson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 73 minutes into the match, Manchester United FC's goalkeeper Saul Väänänen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaf Wallin. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaf Wallin got free with Saul Väänänen in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Ylermi Glad fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manchester United FC's protests and gave Ylermi Glad a yellow card for diving instead.
