After 5 played minutes EL MAGO ONEILL got a freekick which was hit by Tano Lana. Xosepe Alas lost his temper 9 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in EL MAGO ONEILL fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 9th minute. Penalty! Baladi Obina had in the 11thth minute some difficulties stopping Arnoldo Baleren's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. A collision led to Italia getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Arnoldo Baleren hit a great ball. Eulalio Lon kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Estevon Hierro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Higinio Loramendi. Italia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 17th minute, Cesar Benat ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baladi Obina was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Baladi Obina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Fidensio, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Jon Berriz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Higinio Loramendi came out and tried to block the shot, but Jon Berriz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 27th minute. Higinio Loramendi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gorka Lorenz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 38 played minutes, Italia's Ernesto Paz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Baladi Obina came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Italia reached it. Tano Lana's late challenge caught a Italia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tano Lana helped the player get up and apologised. Baladi Obina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Fidensio in the 41st minute of play. In the 44th minute Jairo Fidensio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baladi Obina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Cesar Benat had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baladi Obina. EL MAGO ONEILL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cesar Benat was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jon Berriz to strike the kick off in the second half. Baladi Obina made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Arnoldo Baleren sent off a good shot on target. Baladi Obina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Ralondo in the 56th minute of play. After some careless play in the Italia defense, Jon Berriz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Higinio Loramendi. The Italia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Higinio Loramendi should have stopped the shot. Baladi Obina came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Italia's Cesar Benat. But to his dismay, Cesar Benat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. In the 73rd minute Jairo Fidensio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baladi Obina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baladi Obina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Ralondo in the 75th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Italia's Cesar Benat slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Baladi Obina. That made the score 2-4 after 79 minutes of play. Gorka Lorenz kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the EL MAGO ONEILL defense, Cesar Benat kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baladi Obina. The EL MAGO ONEILL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baladi Obina should have stopped the shot. 90 minutes into the match, Arnoldo Baleren notched a goal, 2-6, to the right of EL MAGO ONEILL's Baladi Obina. Baladi Obina was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
