The supporters of Sunkens Surtröjor booed when Valleslona F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apal Losantos didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Sunkens Surtröjor's Helge Bäckström got control of the ball when Rafa Nadal tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 22nd minute Urtsin Herrera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Helge Bäckström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl-Johan Lekberg hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Xines Saboya from long distance, 23 minutes into the match, got Helge Bäckström's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Helge Bäckström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafa Nadal in the 25th minute. Helge Bäckström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rafa Nadal went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Isaac Cazorla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agne Isaksson in the 30th minute of the match. Helge Bäckström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urtsin Herrera in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Sunkens Surtröjor's goalkeeper Helge Bäckström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafa Nadal. In the 35th minute, Agne Isaksson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 41 minutes into the game, Lars Sundström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sunkens Surtröjor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valleslona F.C. the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sunkens Surtröjor fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 40th minute. Penalty! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rafa Nadal made a kick off. Lars Sundström kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Xines Saboya scored 3-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Helge Bäckström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 58 minutes, Rafa Nadal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Valleslona F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafa Nadal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Valleslona F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ingvar Waller came free, but Isaac Cazorla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isaac Cazorla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesper Håkansson in the 70th minute of the match. Helge Bäckström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hurko Doblas in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urtsin Herrera in the 78th minute of play forced Sunkens Surtröjor's goalkeeper Helge Bäckström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute, Morgan Håning hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Taurino Abasalo charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Taurino Abasalo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Agne Isaksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Cazorla having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agne Isaksson got free with Isaac Cazorla in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 96 played minutes Valleslona F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Rafa Nadal.
