When Michael Brodin came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Norrlands Athen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michael Brodin couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Roger Kämpe kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Giannis Peronosporopoulos. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. Giorgos Kanakakis struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Lars-Erik Wall didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vakoufi Utd. Lars-Erik Wall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stavros Kopidakis in the 17th minute of the match. Vincent Molin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Giannis Peronosporopoulos made a huge save. Giannis Peronosporopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Brodin, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Vakoufi Utd's Giannis Peronosporopoulos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Vakoufi Utd from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giorgos Kanakakis in the 31st minute of play forced Norrlands Athen's goalkeeper Lars-Erik Wall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lars-Erik Wall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stavros Kopidakis in the 33rd minute of play. 36 minutes into the game, Vakoufi Utd's Stavros Kopidakis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lars-Erik Wall made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Michael Brodin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giannis Peronosporopoulos having to interfere. Norrlands Athen's Lars-Erik Wall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giorgos Kanakakis in the 42nd minute of play. Stavros Kopidakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars-Erik Wall having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Lars-Erik Wall made an important save on a dangerous shot by Giorgos Kanakakis in the 51st minute. In the 60th minute Vincent Molin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giannis Peronosporopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Norrlands Athen's goal looked a bit too open when Stavros Kopidakis came free, but Lars-Erik Wall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lars-Erik Wall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stavros Kopidakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lars-Erik Wall prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Vakoufi Utd's zone, Roger Kämpe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giannis Peronosporopoulos came out of the goal and Roger Kämpe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Giannis Peronosporopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vincent Molin in the 80th minute of play. In the 86th minute Stavros Kopidakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars-Erik Wall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stavros Kopidakis in the 87th minute of play forced Norrlands Athen's goalkeeper Lars-Erik Wall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Norrlands Athen's Michael Brodin got a free kick in the 88th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rickard Andreasson during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Vakoufi Utd booed when Norrlands Athen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rickard Andreasson didn't get a good kick on the ball.
