In the 5thth minute of the game Roger Kämpe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Geležinis Vilkas's Aldas Saulis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 8 minutes into the game, Roger Kämpe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Norrlands Athen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Geležinis Vilkas the free kick. The supporters of Geležinis Vilkas booed when Norrlands Athen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Kämpe didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Lars-Erik Wall managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Geležinis Vilkas's Paulius Dabulskis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 17th minute, Naglis Sireikis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lars-Erik Wall was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 23 minutes into the game, Paulius Dabulskis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Geležinis Vilkas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Norrlands Athen the free kick. Aldas Saulis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roger Kämpe's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulius Dabulskis got free with Lars-Erik Wall in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Geležinis Vilkas's Aldas Saulis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rickard Andreasson in the 30th minute of play. Gabrielius Plakys's late challenge caught a Norrlands Athen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gabrielius Plakys helped the player get up and apologised. With an all-out effort, Geležinis Vilkas's Lars-Erik Wall threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Paulius Dabulskis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Lars-Erik Wall stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulius Dabulskis's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. When Geležinis Vilkas's Paulius Dabulskis in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Norrlands Athen's goalie prevented a goal. Lars-Erik Wall didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulius Dabulskis went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score.

Roger Kämpe kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulius Dabulskis in the 60th minute of play forced Norrlands Athen's goalkeeper Lars-Erik Wall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute, Naglis Sireikis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Geležinis Vilkas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Naglis Sireikis in the 64th minute of play forced Norrlands Athen's goalkeeper Lars-Erik Wall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th match minute, Norrlands Athen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rickard Andreasson to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Paulius Dabulskis put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Lars-Erik Wall. In the 71st minute of the match Naglis Sireikis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lars-Erik Wall showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lars-Erik Wall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulius Dabulskis, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Naglis Sireikis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roger Kämpe took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aldas Saulis. Aldas Saulis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. Geležinis Vilkas were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Norrlands Athen for a fine match.
