Spectators: 7474 (Terracing: 5607, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Baldomiro Gau kicked off to start the match. The supporters of La Panchera booed when Norrlands Athen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Hägglund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lars-Erik Wall came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by La Panchera's Augusto Indar. But to his dismay, Augusto Indar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After having played for 10 minutes, Augusto Indar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Panchera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augusto Indar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lars-Erik Wall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomiro Gau, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Vincent Molin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Norrlands Athen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Panchera the free kick. Vincent Molin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Mikeldi in the 24th minute of play forced Norrlands Athen's goalkeeper Lars-Erik Wall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Norrlands Athen getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Rune Falkrans hit a great ball. Lars-Erik Wall came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by La Panchera's Valentin Mikeldi. But to his dismay, Valentin Mikeldi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 33 minutes into the match, Norrlands Athen's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Mikeldi came free, but Lars-Erik Wall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lars-Erik Wall came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by La Panchera's Baldomiro Gau. But to his dismay, Baldomiro Gau quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. A collision led to La Panchera getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Alfonso Bernard hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute, Axel Hägglund fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Bruno Cresenciano, passed just outside the right post. Bruno Cresenciano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Brodin in the 45th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Aurelio Gutierrez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lars-Erik Wall. Norrlands Athen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aurelio Gutierrez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Hägglund to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Hägglund in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruno Cresenciano saved La Panchera from getting behind. Jörgen Norberg's late challenge caught a La Panchera's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jörgen Norberg helped the player get up and apologised. Norrlands Athen's Lars-Erik Wall proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Norrlands Athen from getting a goal against them. Axel Hägglund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Cresenciano having to interfere. If Vincent Molin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute Augusto Indar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars-Erik Wall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kent Backman kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 71stth minute of the game Axel Hägglund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Panchera's Bruno Cresenciano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augusto Indar got free with Lars-Erik Wall in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 75th minute, La Panchera's Valentin Mikeldi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Mikeldi in the 80th minute of play forced Norrlands Athen's goalkeeper Lars-Erik Wall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 82 played minutes Norrlands Athen got a freekick which was hit by Kent Backman. Alfonso Bernard was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 83rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 86th minute, Alfonso Bernard sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Norrlands Athen's Lars-Erik Wall didn't even have to move. Lars-Erik Wall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Indar, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. La Panchera's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
