Ladio Sabuco charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Tercero Arriete breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Real Dracul Medellín's zone, Rodrigo Ursino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tercero Arriete came out of the goal and Rodrigo Ursino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Ursino in the 70th minute of play forced Real Dracul Medellín's goalkeeper Tercero Arriete to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tercero Arriete took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo Nisio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tercero Arriete made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Ursino in the 78th minute of play. The supporters of Deportivo Kadorna booed when Real Dracul Medellín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natan Blanco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Real Dracul Medellín defense, Rodrigo Ursino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tercero Arriete. The Real Dracul Medellín fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tercero Arriete should have stopped the shot. Tercero Arriete took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Ursino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
