In the 23rd minute Alekos Karapialis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdulkadir Öğeturk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Bir Garip Oyun getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Bedir Akbayrak hit a great ball. Abdulkadir Öğeturk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Veniamin Koulouris, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Bedir Akbayrak succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 40th playminute. Zekeriya Perva lost his temper 45 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of Bir Garip Oyun:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Vakoufi Utd:s goal. The referee gave Vakoufi Utd a penalty, 48 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Stavros Kopidakis, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bir Garip Oyun's Abdulkadir Öğeturk. 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Giorgos Kanakakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abdulkadir Öğeturk made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Spyros Symeonakos sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Vakoufi Utd's Stavros Kopidakis got a free kick in the 85th minute. If Mehmet Çağrı Aktemur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bir Garip Oyun's Abdulkadir Öğeturk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Bir Garip Oyun from getting a goal against them. Vakoufi Utd played a much better game than Bir Garip Oyun and deserved their victory. The Bir Garip Oyun players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
