The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes Boldklubben Skjold got a freekick which was hit by Runar Bever. Abdulkadir Öğeturk made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Jimmi Bamberg sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Başar Rafet during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Başar Rafet hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Abdulkadir Öğeturk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tor Glarner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boldklubben Skjold's Claes Valdau managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Boran Cihannur in the 14 minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Boran Cihannur in the 15th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Boldklubben Skjold's Claes Valdau. Jimmi Bamberg's late challenge caught a Bir Garip Oyun's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jimmi Bamberg helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Bir Garip Oyun booed when Boldklubben Skjold was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimmi Bamberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Romsbøge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Behçet Canol, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. The throw-in from Boran Cihannur in the 24th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Boldklubben Skjold's Claes Valdau. If Tor Glarner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jimmi Bamberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jimmi Bamberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdulkadir Öğeturk having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Bir Garip Oyun's zone, Tor Glarner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abdulkadir Öğeturk came out of the goal and Tor Glarner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Behçet Canol during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Bir Garip Oyun getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Behçet Canol hit a great ball. Jimmi Bamberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdulkadir Öğeturk having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jimmi Bamberg to make the kick off. Jimmi Bamberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Boldklubben Skjold getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Waldemar Perbandt hit a great ball. In the 61st minute, Boldklubben Skjold's Tim Riber seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tim Riber the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Boldklubben Skjold protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tim Riber had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Boldklubben Skjold's Cristian Romsbøge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Behçet Canol in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Tor Glarner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Mehmet Çağrı Aktemur kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cristian Romsbøge. That made the score 0-2 in the 70 minute of play. Boldklubben Skjold's attentive Claes Valdau managed to snatch the ball when Boran Cihannur made a throw-in in the 73rd minute of the game. Mehmet Çağrı Aktemur received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cristian Romsbøge came out and tried to block the shot, but Mehmet Çağrı Aktemur slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 75th minute. Behçet Canol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd minute, Claes Valdau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bir Garip Oyun's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
