The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Tim Riber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Romsbøge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vimaro Barzana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Romsbøge made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Cordeara Almenara sent off a good shot on target. Tor Glarner charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tor Glarner the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tor Glarner kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Jimmi Bamberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tor Glarner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Tercero Arriete tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score was now 1-0. 37 minutes into the match, Real Dracul Medellín's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Gronild came free, but Tercero Arriete reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Real Dracul Medellín's Tercero Arriete played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimmi Bamberg in the 39th minute of play. If Jimmi Bamberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 42 minutes, Jimmi Bamberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boldklubben Skjold's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jimmi Bamberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 47th match minute, Boldklubben Skjold was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldemar Perbandt to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ladio Sabuco was the one to do the kick off. Tercero Arriete made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tor Glarner in the 53rd minute of play. Tor Glarner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tercero Arriete having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Real Dracul Medellín's Merexildo Mathey got a free kick in the 59th minute. Tor Glarner received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tercero Arriete came out and tried to block the shot, but Tor Glarner slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 60th minute. Jimmi Bamberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Tercero Arriete tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Cordeara Almenara made a precise shot to the right of Cristian Romsbøge. Boldklubben Skjold's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Poul Reinsberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Tercero Arriete tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute of the match, Jimmi Bamberg got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tercero Arriete was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 78 played minutes Boldklubben Skjold got a freekick which was hit by Claes Valdau. Cristian Romsbøge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ladio Sabuco, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. The supporters of Boldklubben Skjold booed when Real Dracul Medellín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vimaro Barzana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Boldklubben Skjold's Poul Reinsberg suffered a sore foot after 83 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodney Maeda during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Real Dracul Medellín's zone, Jimmi Bamberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tercero Arriete came out of the goal and Jimmi Bamberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Boldklubben Skjold's Tor Glarner got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Claes Valdau's late challenge caught a Real Dracul Medellín's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claes Valdau helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Boldklubben Skjold's Claes Valdau got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Boldklubben Skjold's Cristian Romsbøge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giro Galdamez in the 93rd minute of play. Raitin Olea charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raitin Olea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Raitin Olea kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The Real Dracul Medellín support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
