Spectators: 7477 (Terracing: 5609, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Pascal Dailey kicked off to start the match. Tris Stockley hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 4th minute, Tris Stockley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tris Stockley could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Osvaldo Cadena made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Scot Lincoln during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 12th match minute, Brooklyn SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Scot Lincoln to maneuver through the defense. Brooklyn SC's Osvaldo Cadena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johnny Wadham in the 13th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Randall Haynes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brooklyn SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Randall Haynes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Bettney breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 31st minute Pascal Dailey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Bettney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brooklyn SC's A.J. Spangler couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 34th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Corinthians FC. David Bettney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascal Dailey, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Pascal Dailey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 43 minutes, A.J. Spangler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brooklyn SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but A.J. Spangler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Corinthians FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Toby Dunn hit a great ball. After the first half Brooklyn SC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Johnny Wadham was the one to do the kick off. David Bettney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascal Dailey, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Reg Renner charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reg Renner the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Brooklyn SC booed when Corinthians FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reg Renner didn't get a good kick on the ball. A.J. Spangler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Bettney having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Toby Dunn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute, Randall Haynes sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Corinthians FC's David Bettney didn't even have to move. In the 66th minute, Randall Haynes fired a really elegant long shot, but David Bettney threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. After a rather tough play, Corinthians FC's Johnny Wadham got a free kick in the 69th minute. The supporters of Brooklyn SC booed when Corinthians FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danny Wybrow didn't get a good kick on the ball. Johnny Wadham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Cadena having to interfere. Scot Lincoln hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johnny Wadham in the 88th minute of play forced Brooklyn SC's goalkeeper Osvaldo Cadena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A.J. Spangler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Bettney didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 96th minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. When the final whistle sounded Brooklyn SC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Corinthians FC.
