After 16 played minutes Shaolin soccer got a freekick which was hit by Dariusz Beninda. Miroslaw Cielencki charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Miroslaw Cielencki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Shaolin soccer's Miroslaw Cielencki got a free kick in the 17th minute. César da Mata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juliusz Ptaszek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juliusz Ptaszek took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised César da Mata. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilbert Ranowiecki in the 24th minute of play forced The Beatles's goalkeeper César da Mata to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shaolin soccer's Gilbert Ranowiecki got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emil Cetnar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui Ortiz in the 31st minute of the match. Shaolin soccer's Emil Cetnar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Maia in the 33rd minute of play. Emil Cetnar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Maia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Shaolin soccer's zone, Rui Ortiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emil Cetnar came out of the goal and Rui Ortiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41st minute of the match Arkadiusz Trochowski sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but César da Mata skillfully saved the ball. Tomás Maia's late challenge caught a Shaolin soccer's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomás Maia helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th match minute, The Beatles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Maia to maneuver through the defense. The The Beatles players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Shaolin soccer were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juliusz Ptaszek to strike the kick off in the second half. Emil Cetnar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Maia in the 52nd minute of the match. Vitinho Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. The Beatles's César da Mata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Cetnar in the 63rd minute of play. When Rui Ortiz fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Beatles's protests and gave Rui Ortiz a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Shaolin soccer booed when The Beatles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Ortiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juliusz Ptaszek got free with César da Mata in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 69th minute, Gilbert Ranowiecki made a precise shot to the right of César da Mata. The Beatles's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Juliusz Ptaszek in the 74thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of César da Mata, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of Shaolin soccer booed when The Beatles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Perivaldo Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The The Beatles supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Shaolin soccer's performance. The match ended with a win for Shaolin soccer.
