The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Amador Urti charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amador Urti the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Amador Urti hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Juliusz Ptaszek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Ubaldo Silvanito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute Juliusz Ptaszek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Silvanito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Juliusz Ptaszek put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ubaldo Silvanito. In the 21st minute Gilbert Ranowiecki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Silvanito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, German Donio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilbert Ranowiecki took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ubaldo Silvanito. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Juliusz Ptaszek put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Ubaldo Silvanito. Amador Urti was shown his second yellow card after 40 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Shaolin soccer booed when Newells Old Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amador Urti didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juliusz Ptaszek in the 44th minute of play forced Newells Old Boys's goalkeeper Ubaldo Silvanito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th minute, Juliusz Ptaszek got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Newells Old Boys players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Shaolin soccer were winning 0-4.

The wind increased when Juliusz Ptaszek made the kick off in the second half. Ubaldo Silvanito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dariusz Beninda, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 65th play minute Juliusz Ptaszek came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ubaldo Silvanito. 0-5. Newells Old Boys's Ubaldo Silvanito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Newells Old Boys from getting a goal against them. Ubaldo Silvanito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juliusz Ptaszek in the 80th minute of play. A collision led to Newells Old Boys getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Hernan Gagriel hit a great ball. After 83 minutes of play, Shaolin soccer's Gilbert Ranowiecki made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ubaldo Silvanito was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the final whistle sounded Shaolin soccer left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Newells Old Boys.
