After 8 played minutes FC Szczucin got a freekick which was hit by Eugeniusz Lerych. 11 minutes into the match, FC Szczucin's goal looked a bit too open when Dudu Queiroz came free, but Miromir Cichocki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dinei Hermes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Radomil Walentowicz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. Miromir Cichocki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulão Veiga in the 40th minute of play. José Vítor Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miromir Cichocki having to interfere. Radomil Walentowicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Dinei Hermes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Szczucin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Radomil Walentowicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 77th minute, Radomil Walentowicz made a precise shot to the right of Dinei Hermes. Carrossel Caipira's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. José Vítor Mendonça's late challenge caught a FC Szczucin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Vítor Mendonça helped the player get up and apologised. Jonathan Hermes came free with the goalkeeper in the 91st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Miromir Cichocki could save by the left post. 92 minutes into the match, FC Szczucin's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Hermes came free, but Miromir Cichocki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miromir Cichocki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulão Veiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Carrossel Caipira supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Carrossel Caipira would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
