The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. But to his dismay, Pontus Berglund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The supporters of The Gunners booed when Plan B was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jens-Åke Bengtsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Michael Fors took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Tunander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the game, Bengt Kielberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elias Jansson was the one to do the kick off. With an all-out effort, The Gunners's Michael Fors threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pontus Berglund, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 54th minute, The Gunners's Pontus Berglund ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Michael Fors. After taking down the ball on The Gunners's corner Benjamin Tunander fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Michael Fors quite easily take care of the ball. Michael Fors was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pontus Berglund showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 62 minute of play.
