The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Raleigh Dale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulgencio Abajas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raleigh Dale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulgencio Abajas having to interfere. In the 11th match minute, Elderslie Magpies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Bailey to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of La Mandarina Mecánica booed when Elderslie Magpies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brad Missen didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Tibalt Abellaneda took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Corder Clubley to make any attempt to save it. After some careless play in the La Mandarina Mecánica defense, Brad Missen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fulgencio Abajas. The La Mandarina Mecánica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fulgencio Abajas should have stopped the shot. Fulgencio Abajas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raleigh Dale in the 21st minute of play. Elderslie Magpies's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ed Howard in the 22nd minute. After taking down the ball on Elderslie Magpies's corner Ed Howard fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fulgencio Abajas quite easily take care of the ball. Elderslie Magpies's Brad Missen got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Quirze Abadia charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Quirze Abadia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Quirze Abadia hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Elderslie Magpies's Brad Missen got his second yellow card of the match in the 28th minute. The referee ordered Brad Missen off the ground. A collision led to Elderslie Magpies getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Brad Missen hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fermin Abella got free with Corder Clubley in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Elderslie Magpies booed when La Mandarina Mecánica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serapio Abadia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fulgencio Abajas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raleigh Dale in the 35th minute of the match. A collision led to La Mandarina Mecánica getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Teodor Abendano hit a great ball. Brock Devine recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. La Mandarina Mecánica's Fulgencio Abajas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rod Stephens in the 40th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Elderslie Magpies's corner Ed Howard fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fulgencio Abajas quite easily take care of the ball. After 47 played minutes Elderslie Magpies got a freekick which was hit by Kale Mcinnis. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Tibalt Abellaneda took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Corder Clubley to make any attempt to save it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tibalt Abellaneda to strike the kick off in the second half. Corder Clubley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tibalt Abellaneda in the 54th minute of the match. Raleigh Dale's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fulgencio Abajas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Ed Howard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Fulgencio Abajas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Elderslie Magpies booed when La Mandarina Mecánica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fermin Abella didn't get a good kick on the ball. 64 minutes into the match, La Mandarina Mecánica's goalkeeper Fulgencio Abajas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raleigh Dale. In the 66th minute Tibalt Abellaneda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corder Clubley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th play minute Raleigh Dale came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Fulgencio Abajas. 2-2. Elderslie Magpies's Raleigh Dale got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Martin Bailey kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Brock Devine took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Fulgencio Abajas to make any attempt to save it. 89 minutes into the game, Tibalt Abellaneda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Mandarina Mecánica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Elderslie Magpies the free kick. Brock Devine's late challenge caught a La Mandarina Mecánica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brock Devine helped the player get up and apologised. Brock Devine hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Elderslie Magpies's Corder Clubley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fermin Abella in the 95th minute of play. Elderslie Magpies were furious when Byron Osbiston was red carded, 98 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 98 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Elderslie Magpies! The referee gave La Mandarina Mecánica a penalty, 100 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fermin Abella, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Elderslie Magpies's Corder Clubley. 3-3. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
