In the 3rd minute, Raleigh Dale ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Felice Bobbio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Ernesto Speranza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Old BaoBaB Accademy's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernesto Speranza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Corder Clubley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Elderslie Magpies's Raleigh Dale got a free kick in the 13th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Elderslie Magpies's goal looked a bit too open when Attilio Di Tullio came free, but Corder Clubley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, Raleigh Dale made a precise shot to the right of Felice Bobbio. Old BaoBaB Accademy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Corder Clubley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edoardo Schirone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felice Bobbio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brad Missen in the 27th minute of play. Elderslie Magpies's Corder Clubley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Elderslie Magpies from getting a goal against them. 31 minutes into the match, Elderslie Magpies's goal looked a bit too open when Edoardo Schirone came free, but Corder Clubley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elderslie Magpies's Corder Clubley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Speranza in the 33rd minute of play. Brad Missen struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Felice Bobbio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Elderslie Magpies. Ciccio Prato kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Old BaoBaB Accademy's Attilio Di Tullio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Corder Clubley. Corder Clubley yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Brad Missen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felice Bobbio having to interfere. After 45 played minutes, Elderslie Magpies's Ed Howard shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Felice Bobbio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Elderslie Magpies reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brad Missen in the 46th minute of play forced Old BaoBaB Accademy's goalkeeper Felice Bobbio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ernesto Speranza received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Corder Clubley came out and tried to block the shot, but Ernesto Speranza slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 48th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

The wind increased when Ernesto Speranza made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Ciccio Prato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th match minute, Elderslie Magpies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brock Devine to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute Brad Missen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felice Bobbio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felice Bobbio came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Elderslie Magpies's Raleigh Dale. But to his dismay, Raleigh Dale quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. After 66 played minutes Elderslie Magpies got a freekick which was hit by Ed Howard. 68 minutes into the match, Elderslie Magpies's goal looked a bit too open when Attilio Di Tullio came free, but Corder Clubley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brad Missen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felice Bobbio having to interfere. 82 minutes into the game, Ed Howard recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Felice Bobbio. Ed Howard showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-5. A collision led to Elderslie Magpies getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Raleigh Dale hit a great ball. Raleigh Dale could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Felice Bobbio made a huge save. In the 95th match minute, Old BaoBaB Accademy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciccio Prato to maneuver through the defense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Elderslie Magpies walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
