Roque Firme yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 18 minutes into the match, La Mandarina Mecánica's goal looked a bit too open when Alonzo Patxi came free, but Fulgencio Abajas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fermin Abella in the 20th minute of play forced Gorgory's goalkeeper Roque Firme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Gorgory's goalkeeper Roque Firme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tibalt Abellaneda. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tibalt Abellaneda couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
