After a defensive mix-up in Elderslie Magpies's zone, Segundo Rozarius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Corder Clubley came out of the goal and Segundo Rozarius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gorgory were furious when Leo Henry was red carded, 13 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Brad Missen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raleigh Dale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 25 minutes into the game, Jacinto Maties was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gorgory's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Elderslie Magpies the free kick. In the 46th minute, Segundo Rozarius got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Segundo Rozarius to strike the kick off in the second half. Jacinto Maties kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Ed Howard shot from long distance in the 52nd minute, but Roque Firme was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. 55 minutes into the match, Gorgory's goalkeeper Roque Firme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raleigh Dale. Roque Firme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brad Missen, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Corder Clubley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Segundo Rozarius in the 59th minute of play. Segundo Rozarius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th match minute, Elderslie Magpies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mack Barker to maneuver through the defense. Segundo Rozarius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 93 minutes into the game, Segundo Rozarius cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Corder Clubley was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the final whistle went the supporters of Elderslie Magpies were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Gorgory side.
